CHOOSE A CLASS:

Learn the stained glass process from start to finish in a private, one-on-one class at my NE Portland studio.

Designed for complete beginners, this hands-on introduction takes you through the copper foil method while you make a small stained glass piece of your own. Choose from a selection of beginner-friendly patterns and glass, then learn how to cut and grind your pieces, apply copper foil and flux, solder, and finish your work.

No previous experience is necessary. I’ll guide you through each step, and you’ll leave with a finished stained glass piece to take home.

CHOOSE YOUR SESSION

2 HOURS - $140 SOLO / $240 for TWO
A shorter introduction to stained glass and a good option for a simple project or someone primarily interested in learning the fundamentals.

3 HOURS - $195 SOLO / $345 for TWO (RECOMMENDED)
The best option for first-time students. Three hours gives us enough time to work through the complete process at a comfortable pace and finish a small stained glass piece.

4 HOURS - $240 SOLO / $440 for TWO
A more leisurely studio session with additional time for cutting, glass selection, technique, and a slightly more involved project.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Your introductory class includes private one-on-one instruction, use of all studio tools and equipment, and all materials required for your project—including glass, copper foil, solder, flux, and finishing supplies.

I’ll provide a selection of beginner-friendly patterns and a range of glass colors and textures to choose from.

You don't need to bring any tools or supplies.

CONTINUE LEARNING

Once you've completed the introductory class, you can return for private follow-up sessions to develop your skills, work on your own designs, or get help with a more ambitious project.

FOLLOW-UP INSTRUCTION - $60/HOUR (2-hour minimum)

Full use of studio tools and equipment is included. Consumable materials such as glass, foil, and solder are additional and may be brought with you or purchased at the studio.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Please review the cancellation policy before registering for a class.

Private classes are scheduled specifically for you, and your reserved time is unavailable to other students once booked. Because last-minute cancellations can be difficult to fill, the following cancellation policy applies:

  • Cancellations made 14 or more days before your class are eligible for a refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee per registration.
  • Cancellations made less than 14 days but more than 48 hours before your class are eligible for shop credit that may be applied toward a future class.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before your class, as well as no-shows, are not eligible for a refund or shop credit.

The 48-hour cancellation policy is strictly enforced, as that time has been reserved exclusively for your class and is unlikely to be filled on short notice.

By registering for a class, you acknowledge and agree to these cancellation terms.
