Each private class includes instruction for 1-2 students, all materials needed to complete your project, and full use of my tools and equipment in my NE Portland (OR) studio. No previous experience or additional supplies are needed, I'm here to help from start to finish.

I’ll provide a selection of beginner-friendly templates for you to choose from, along with the glass, copper foil, solder, and other supplies needed to complete your piece. We’ll work through the entire stained glass process together—from cutting and grinding the glass to foiling, fluxing, soldering, and finishing. By the end of the class, you’ll have completed a small stained glass piece to take home with you. 

PRICING:

2 hours - $140
($70/hour)
3 hours - $195
($65/hour - recommended*)
4 hours - $240 ($60/hour)

Bring a friend - $50/hour (select the number of hours by changing the quantity at checkout)

Follow-up sessions -$60/hour with a 2-hour minimum (select the number of hours by changing the quantity at checkout)

Consumable materials such as glass, flux, foil, and solder are not provided in follow-up sessions; they can be purchased ahead of time and brought to class, or directly on-site while class is in session.

*A 3-hour session usually gives us enough time to go through all the steps without feeling rushed.

Artwork is dated, signed, and numbered as a one-of-a-kind, exclusive design, handmade by Clare Lancaster McGibbon in her Portland, OR studio. No reproductions will be made. Contact hello@awaysaway.studio to arrange pickup or delivery options for larger work.
