Mirror | Collage nº 54

I like to cut out little paper compositions when I want to experiment with colors and shapes before fully committing to cutting glass. This one (based on Collage nº 54) made the cut and ended up as an abstract stained glass wall hanging. It's fun, colorful art with a bonus mirror so you can sneak in some self-reflection.

Designed to hang on the wall rather than in a window, this piece still plays with the luminous qualities of traditional stained glass. Light bounces off the mirror and passes through the colored glass, casting shifting traces of color onto the wall.

The panel lifts off the wall by about ½" to give the glass some depth, and comes with a nail and instructions for hanging.
