Ceramic Face Dish nº2 / Incense Holder / Ring Dish
You can hear the birds chirp blissfully above all the Sunday morning fracas on the streets below. Margot PORTIER puts on a striped shirt and applies a fresh coat of bright red lipstick before leaving her Parisian apartment to go to the marché. "Bonjour Madame," she greets the concierge washing the palier. As she steps out of her building, her striking dark-blue hair catches the light of the morning sun.
The market is crowded. She works her way through the stalls, carefully checking items off her grocery list as she adds them to her basket. Margot spots an empty chair at her corner cafe and takes a seat. "Un café alongé, s'il vous plaît," she asks the garçon out of the corner of her mouth while she lights an incense stick. The waiter nods. The fragrance lingers. As he weaves through the tables and chairs on the terrace on that Sunday morning, he glances back at her while she takes a long drag with her bright red lips.
